Anja was part of an exciting group show at “Galerie im Traklhaus,” Salzburg Austria, which also travelled to “Künstlerhaus Palais Thurn & Taxis,” Bregenz, in the spring of 2013, for which a catalogue was published. The other artists featured were Petra Buchegger, Annja Krautgasser and Silke Maier-Gamauf.
“Chinese Fast Food” was presented at the following art fairs in 2013: “Pulse Miami Contemporary Art Fair,” Miami (with Michael Steinberg Fine Arts); “Artfair Köln,” Cologne; “Art Market Budapest,” Budapest (both with Galerie Reinthaler)
“Chinese Fast Food” was exhibited in a solo show at Galerie Reinthaler in Vienna, September 12 - October 19, 2013 (the venue was the beautiful Photoatelier Setzer-Tschiedel).
“The Paris Film,” — the collaboration of Edward and Anja and featuring Jimena Paz — was screened at the On Photography Film Festival at Fotoweek in Holland in October 2013.
Anja will teach a ten-day photography workshop at Three Shadows Photography Art Centre in Beijing, China, from April 19-28, 2013. The workshop is “Dynamic Composition and Telling Stories” and could be a rare and exciting opportunity to get to know this amazing city while creating new pictures and improving photography skills and composition. Stadtgalerie Lehen in Salzburg is presenting Anja’s series “Chinese Fast Food” in a group show from January 25–March 13, 2013.
Anja is part of the group show “Out of Salzburg” at White Box gallery in Munich, Germany, from November 2–25, 2013, where she will exhibit her series “Chinese Fast Food.” The show was curated by Alexandra Grimmer, featuring artists from Salzburg including Eva Wagner, Schwarzwald, Ulrike Lienbacher and others.
This Monday in Copenhagen: “The Paris Film” — the latest film project by Anja and Edward, featuring Jimena Paz — will be screened as part of the Not Festival on Monday, October 22, at 8:45pm (at Dansehallerne, Pastuersvej 20). Curated by Luis Lara. Click here for more info on the festival.
